Ravenswood runners compete in Belpre Invitational

Ravenswood's girls team finished sixth out of 15 teams while Cade Curfman placed in the Top 30 of the boys competition at the Belpre Invitational.

The Pack Attack continues to be a strength for the Ravenswood girls in this 2021 season.

"The girls ran a good solid team race without one of our top five in Maci Mosser, who was out due to sickness," said head coach Bryan Canterbury.  

Ravenswood is ranked fourth in Class A. 

Emily Wratchford led Ravenswood by placing 32nd overall in a time of 22:03.

Ravenswood's crew of runners featured Sami Maxson (36th, 22:16), Kadi Price (45th, 22:58), Hadleigh McGoskey (46th, 23:05), Brooke Meadows (67th, 23:56), Kenzi Nesselroad (73rd, 24:29), Brianna Sotomayor (86th, 25:01), Zoie Meadows (108th, 26:30) and Madisyn Whited (136th, 31:12).

Curfman finished with a time of 17:54 to place 25th. 

"Cade broke 18 minutes for the second straight meet," said Canterbury.

Tucker Gorrell turned in a personal best with a time of 20:01. Wyatt Nickerson had a time of 21:24 with 96th. 

Cade had a good race as did Tucker. Cade broke 18 minutes for the second straight meet and Tucker ran his personal best. Logan Alfred was out for the boys with sickness as well as Michael and David McGraw.
