The 10u Ripley Hustle travel softball team competed in the 9/11 Memorial tournament in Summersville on Sept. 11. 

As the No. 2 seed, the Ripley squad finished as the runner-up out of seven teams.

The team led under the direction of coaches Derrick Westfall and Nick Gumm participated in a ceremony dedicated to remembering and honoring first responders from the past and present.
