A trio of standouts from this past season’s Ravenswood Red Devil football team were honored in the balloting for the All-Little Kanawha Conference teams.

All three will be key returners next season for Eric Hupp’s program.

Juniors Wes Hill and Ethan Lane were named to the All-LKC First Team Class A unit while Isaiah Casto gained Honorable Mention.

Hill, who played tight end/fullback/defensive end/linebacker for the Devils this past season, was credited with 50 tackles on the prevent side of the ball. Two of his tackles were for a loss. He also forced a fumble this season.

The 6-2, 225-pounder, who transferred to Ravenswood from Tampa, Florida, was a solid blocker on offense to help aid Casto, who was Ravenswood’s leading rusher. Hill caught six passes for 91 yards and rushed the ball three times for four yards.

Lane registered 44 tackles while working on the defensive front for the Devils. Of those 44 tackles, 12 went for a loss. He had two sacks, recovered two fumbles and forced a fumble.

Lane was also a mainstay on the Devil offensive line.

Casto finished the season for Ravenswood with 825 yards rushing and eight touchdowns. He also caught five passes for 72 yards. On defense, Casto had 11 tackles.
