Jackson County Grand Jury indicts more than 20 in June. Here's a list.

RIPLEY — A Jackson County Grand Jury sitting in the June term of the circuit court handed over 21 indictments, according to the prosecuting attorney's office. Of these indictments, Brandon Vodenik was charged with three felonies of sexual assault. 

Vodenik, 21, of Fairmont, was charged with sexual assault in the third degree, soliciting a minor and traveling to engage the minor in prohibited sexual activity, and distribution and exhibiting of material depicting minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.

Other indictments handed down in June include:

  • Phillip Adkins, 44, of Ravenswood, driving while license revoked. 
  • Frezier Allen, 24, of Columbus, Ohio, possession with the intent to deliver fentanyl, methamphetamine and oxycodone. 
  • Rickie Anderson, 33, of Sandyville, brandishing a deadly weapon, threatening or causing breach of peace, stalking and a misdemeanor charge of violation of domestic violence protective order. 
  • August Atkins, 30, of Ravenswood, third-offense shoplifting.
  • Jaion Bivins, 19, of Akron, Ohio, fleeing with reckless indifference. 
  • Tiffany Brogan, 32, of Ravenswood, breaking and entering, entering without breaking, grand larceny and conspiracy to commit a felony. 
  • Doyle Brown, 33, of Evans, attempt to commit a felony and conspiracy to commit a felony. 
  • Joseph Coutler, 48, of Ravenswood, possession of intent to deliver methamphetamine. 
  • Makayla Edwards, 20, of Cottageville, driving under the influence resulting in serious bodily injury. 
  • Reion Garrett, 22, of Akron, Ohio, fleeing from a police officer. 
  • Ronald Keyes Jr., 37, of Ravenswood, domestic assault and a misdemeanor for unlawful restraint. 
  • Chad Lacava, 34, of Ravenswood, breaking and entering, entering without breaking, grand larceny and conspiracy to commit a felony. 
  • Megan Lacava, 37, of Ravenswood, breaking and entering, entering without breaking, grand larceny and conspiracy to commit a felony. 
  • Christina Legan, 45, of Ripley, possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine. 
  • Jason Marcinko, 31, of Ripley, stalking and four counts of violation of domestic violence protective order, a misdemeanor. 
  • Cho Miller, 37, of Kenna, strangulation and second offense of domestic battery, a misdemeanor. 
  • Corey Raines, 31, of Ripley, attempt to commit a felony and conspiracy to commit a felony. 
  • James Scarberry, 44, of Ripley, possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, suboxone and marijuana. 
  • Marvin Thaxton, 43, of Charleston, conspiracy to commit a felony and three counts of unauthorized use of access device.
