Miller excited about future of Ravenswood

The Ravenswood City Council will meet tonight, Tuesday, Jan. 19, at 7 p.m. at the Municipal Complex (City Hall building) located at 1 Wall Street, third floor. 

On the agenda are two special presentations including information on the Ravenswood Marina Project by Mayor Josh Miller and city website updates / upgrades/ and future development presented by Ravenswood Board of Parks and Recreation superintendent Katrena Ramsey.

Also on the agenda is for the Council to consider and act upon a lease agreement proposal for 1 Wall Street, third floor, between the City of Ravenswood and the following organizations: a) Jackson County Chamber of Commerce; b) Family Resource Network; and c) Ravenswood Development Authority.

The future is looking bright in Ravenswood and Miller is excited to report on the progress of the Marina Project.

“We hope to share this as some good news and assure you we’re still looking to the future for our citizens and our small businesses even as we battle what’s happening in the present,” he said. “This project will change Ravenswood, Ripley, Jackson County, and the surrounding region for the next century.”
