Jackson County Health Department offers free COVID-19 testing clinics

Drive-thru testing will be available at two locations in Jackson County.

The Jackson County Health Department will be offering two free drive-thru COVID-19 testing clinics in partnership with the West Virginia Center for Threat Preparedness and the West Virginia Herbert Henderson Office of Minority Affairs. On Friday, Aug. 7, drive-thru testing will be available at Riverfront Park in Ravenswood and on Saturday, Aug. 8 at Cedar Lakes Conference Center in Ripley. Both days, testing will be offered from 12 noon – 6 p.m.

Individuals will need to provide identification. Testing on both days is free and open to the public. No insurance information will be needed during these two events. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian and bring identification if they have one (school ID, birth certificate).
