Health and Wellness:

• If symptoms exhibited, stay home

• If symptoms detected, must leave premises

• If travel internationally, must quarantine 14 days

• If testing positive, must have a negative test result before returning

Opening of School if 5-day plan is permitted:

• Sept. 8 – Students with last names beginning A-K

• Sept. 9 – Students with last names beginning L-Z

• Sept. 10 – all students not enrolled in virtual school will attend

• Sept. 14 – First day for pre-school students

Cafeteria/Food Service:

• 50-percent capacity or possible delivery to classrooms


• Students remain in core classroom throughout the day as much as possible

• All desks facing the same direction and as socially distance as possible

• No sharing of supplies

Face Coverings:

• Required for grades 3-12 and staff when social distancing can not be achieved, in congregant areas or outside their core group (elementary). Exceptions are listed in detail on the board’s website.

• Staff and grades 3-12 shall wear face covering while on school busses

• PK-2 grade are encouraged to wear masks if able to do so


• Hand sanitizer will be provided in each classroom

• Students will not drink directly from water fountains. Each school will be equipped with a water bottle filling stations and each student will be provided a reusable water bottle for personal use

• Day-shift custodians shall sanitize restrooms at least every two hours

School Bus Transportation:

• Face coverings shall be worn by all occupants grades 3-12 and PK-2 if able to do so

• Windows will be lowered to at least one level weather permitting

• No more than two students to a seat; if in the same family, three children to a seat

• Students identified with COVID-19 symptoms while at school will not be transported home by school bus

• Sanitizing of seats and touch surfaces after each bus run is required


• No school-wide assemblies or programs

• All school visitors must wear face coverings and symptom screening will be conducted

• School volunteers will only be authorized in crucial need situations and must be requested by the principal
