There’s no place like home.

Ravenswood golfer Gavin Fox proved it in a recent Callaway Junior Tour event, administered by the West Virginia Golf Association.

Fox took the 17-18 year-old division crown on the Greenhills Country Club’s 72-hole layout, by finishing with a 5-over-par 77 on his home course.

GHCC has hosted events on the state-wide CJRT the past several years.

Jacob Gittings of Chester was second to Fox, finishing with an 80.

The 17-18 division had a field of 12 golfers.

Ripley’s Shawn Manley placed fifth with an 82.

Bryson Beaver of Elkview shot a 71 to win the boys 15-16 age group.

Capturing the boys 13-14 division was Scott Depot’s Jackson Woodburn, who shot a 79.

Carson Higginbotham of Clarksburg won the 12-and-under division with a 71.

Spencer’s Emerson Simon won the girls 10-14 division with an 83.
