EASTWOOD – Ravenswood’s Red Devilettes (18-9) bowed out of the postseason in a 13-5 sectional semifinal loss to visiting Wahama Saturday.
The Devilettes grabbed a 4-2 lead with four runs in the bottom of the first inning, but Wahama outscored them 11-1 over the next four innings for the win.
Kendall Bowen took the pitching loss, facing nine, walking five and allowing nine hits and 11 runs (seven earned) over the five innings. Rylan Tabor came on in relief, walking three and allowing one hit and a pair of runs (one earned).
For Wahama, Taylor McGrew got the pitching win, fanning none, walking none and scattering six hits with five runs. Hannah Billups went 2-for-2 at the plate with a double, three RBIs and a run scored. Cynthia Hendrick went 2-for-4 with two runs scored.
For Ravenswood, Rylin Tabor went 2-for-2 with a double and runs scored; Kendall Bowen, 2-for-3 with an RBI and runs scored; and Bayli Manns, 1-for-3 with a double, RBI and run scored. Skylar Mace added a double, RBI and run scored.
Devilettes 12—Wirt County 4
Trailing 4-1 after four innings, Ravenswood exploded for 10 fifth-inning runs to overwhelm visiting Wirt County, 12-4, in a sectional tournament elimination game Friday at Eastwood.
Kendall Bowen got the pitching win, fanning one, walking three and scattering four hits over the six innings.
Jessi Lockhart took the loss for the Tigers, going 4.2 innings with one strikeout. Kayla Randolph tossed one innings. The Tiger pitchers surrendered 16 Devilette hits.
At the plate, Bowen went 3-for-4 with two doubles and two runs scored. Claudia Cubides went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles, three RBIs and a run scored; Macey Manns, 3-for-4 with a double, RBI and two runs scored; Rylin Tabor, 2-for-3 with an RBI and run scored; and Skylar Mace, 2-for-4 with a run scored.
Kylie Stephens, Katie Frazier, Lockhart and Randolph had one single each for Wirt County.
Devilettes 21—Parkersburg Catholic 0
Freshman Rylin Tabor tossed a perfect five-inning game, fanning six, and the Devilettes got back on the sectional track with a 21-0 blowout of visiting Parkersburg Thursday at Eastwood.
Macey Manns went 3-for-3 with a pair of triples, five RBIs and two runs scored to lead Ravenswood. Bayli Manns went 3-for-4 with two doubles, three RBIs and three runs scored; Kendall Bowen, 2-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs scored; Jillian Smith and Sidney Smith, 2-for-3 each with two runs scored; Rylin Tabor, 1-for-3 with a triple, RBI and two runs scored.
Williamstown 7—Devilettes 4
Visiting Williams scored a pair of runs in the second inning and three more in the third to upset the N. 1 seed Devilettes, 7-4, at Eastwood Wednesday.
Rylin Tabor took the pitching loss, fanning none, walking one and surrendering 9 hits and five unearned runs over five innings.
Ravenswood committed four costly errors in the game.

At the plate, Kristen Harmon and Alexis Schreckengost collected three hits each for the Yellow Jackets.
