RAVENSWOOD – Chase Swain fired a no-hitter with 12 strikeouts and one walk, and Ciah Kennedy collected three hits (double) and drove in two runs as the Ravenswood Red Devils blew past visiting St. Marys, 10-0 in five innings, Monday at Wright Field.

In going the distance for the pitching win, Swain flirted with a perfect game in his five innings on the mound, allowing just one base runner on a walk.

At the plate, Kennedy led a seven-hit Ravenswood attack with a double and two single in three trips. Kennedy drove in a pair of runs and scored a pair.

Swain helped his own cause with a double, stolen base and two runs scored. Nathan Curtis added a single and two RBIs; Andrew Anglin, a single and two RBIs; Nic Taylor, a single and stolen base. Lakin Tucker and Stephen added one RBI each. Jake Green stole a base.
