EASTWOOD – Leading 4-0 after one inning, Coach Cindy Carmichael’s Ravenswood Red Devilettes exploded for 16 second-inning runs to bury visiting Parkersburg Catholic, 20-0, in three innings at Eastwood Monday.

Freshman Rylin Tabor got the pitching win for the Devilettes with a two-hitter, fanning two and walking one.

Devilette Sidney Smith went 3-for-3 at the plate with an RBI and two runs scored.

Skylar Mace went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer, four RBIs and two runs scored. Tabor helped her own cause by going 2-for-3 with an inside-the-park homer, two RBIs and two runs scored. Emily Stutler went 2-for-2 with a double, three RBIs and two runs scored. Shelby Howard went 2-for-2 with two RBIs and two runs scored. Macey Manns added a double, RBI and a run scored. Kendall Bowen added a single, RBI and three runs scored. 

Ravenswood dropped a 5-0 decision to Warren Local Saturday as part of a double header at Wahama

The Devilettes collected just two hits—one single each by Bayli Manns and Macey Manns.

Kendall Bowen took the pitching loss, going 6.1 innings with no strikeouts, eight walks and 11 hits allowed. Rylin Tabor tossed the other two-thirds inning.

Host Wahama scored four runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to defeat  Ravenswood, 9-5, Saturday.

The Devilettes led 2-1 after on inning and 3-2 after two, but had to score a pair in the top of the seventh to send the game into extra innings.

Jayla Sayre took the pitching loss for Ravenswood, fanning none, walking seven and allowing 15 hits.

At the plate, Skylar Mace went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBIs and a run scored. Claudia Cubies also collected two hits; and Kendall Bowen, Bayli Manns (RBI, two runs scored), Macey Manns (double, RBI), Rylin Tabor (run scored) and Sidney Smith (RBI), one hit each.

Hannah Billups, Emily VanMatre (double) and Amara Helton had three hits each for the White Falcons. Taylor McGrew hit a homer, had four RBIs, and got the pitching win, fanning two, walking none and allowing nine hits.
