EASTWOOD – The Lady Red Devils of Coach Stacey Gorrell saw their early season log slip to (0-3) with a pair of home losses, following a 8-2 season opening loss at Huntington St. Joseph.

Saturday morning at Eastwood, the Lady Devils fell 5-2 to visiting Riverside and also lost senior co-captain Claudia Cubides to a sprained ankle. 

Cubides and senior co-captain Haylie Reynolds scored one goal each for Ravenswood.

For the Warriors, Ashley Hancock had a hat trick (three goals), and Haidyn Bare and Kelsi Lane added one goal each.

Ravenswood fell 6-1 to visiting Herbert Hoover last Thursday. The Huskies led 4-0 at the half.

Junior Abbie Henry and senior Chloe Curry scored two goals each for Hoover. Anna Pritt and Taylor Bailey added one goal each.

Claudia Cubides scored the Lady Devils’ lone goal.

Ravenswood plays at Lincoln County tonight (Tuesday), and hosts Sherman Thursday at 5 p.m. and Nitro Saturday at 10 a.m.
