LOGAN, Ohio– The Ripley Viking archery team of coaches Tess Gump and Tom Kruk came out on top at last Saturday’s Logan Conference Archery tournament in Logan, Ohio.
The Vikings finished with an overall score of 3363, bolstered by strong individual performances from Nick Rhodes (293 points, third in Boys High School Division), Courtney Brown (283 points, third in the Girls High School Division) and Savanna Hatfield (282 points, fifth place in the Girls High School Division.) The Logan tournament was Ripley’s second first place finish in three tournaments so far this season.
Rounding out the scores for Ripley were: Corey Hill, 285; Kassie Williams, 281; Jeffrey Sheppard, 280; Joe Vest, 280; Jacob Williams, 280; Megan Casto, 276; Delaney Parsons, 274; Pheobe Rawson, 274; Michaela Dickinson, 274; Cory Walters, 272; Laura Blizzard, 270; Stetson Crowder, 267; Becca Thompson, 265; Chad Anderson, 261; Katrina Stalnaker, 259; Tatum Harper, 259; Morgan Casto, 257; Bill White, 257; Brook Boggess, 245; Hope King, 236; Hayley Preston, 227; and Samantha McClain, 124. The Vikings’ next tournament will be held in Nelsonville, Ohio on March 12.
