Estella Jean (Pudge) Nutter, 77, of Clover, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021 at CAMC General.
She was born August 16, 1943, the daughter of the late Harley and Mabel Lowe of Spencer. Jeanie was a 1961 Spencer High School graduate, a lifelong supporter of the Blue Grass Riding Club and a homemaker.
She loved spending time with her husband of 26 years prior to his passing in April of 2020. She enjoyed spending time with her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids, as well as her pets Scooter, Rowdy, and Snoopy. She always had great stories to tell about her adventures as a Capitol Security Guard and all the many worldly travels she spent on the road with her husband and their families and friends.
Jeanie is survived by her son, Richard Newton “Skip” (Terri) Board of Leroy; step-sons, Michael Shane Nutter of Clover and Charles Kevin (Phyllis) Nutter of Spencer; step-daughter, Lisa Ann (Steve) Simmons of Spencer; and a brother, Raymond Lee (Sonny) Stevens of Akron, Ohio. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Braden Board, Muriah and Karlee Nutter, Hunter and Dalton Simmons, Kelsie Nichols, Miranda and Autumn Board, Jakiah Greathouse, and step-grandson, Kody (Felisha) Kerns; and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Jeanie was preceded in death by her husband, Charles B. Nutter; son, Allen Ray Board; step-sons, Stephen Scott Nutter and Tim Stewart; and brothers, Harley Lowe, Jr. and Edward Lowe.
Per her wishes, she was cremated and a memorial service will be planned at a later date with Randy Wayne and Karen Ritchie officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested all donations be sent to the Blue Grass Riding Club in memory of Jeanie Board Nutter at P. O. Box 664, Spencer, WV 25276 or to Brenda Samples at 1474 Triplett Road, Spencer, WV 25276.
