Dorthlean F. (Price) Thomas Durst, 91, of Millwood, WV, passed away January 14, 2021 at her home following an extended illness.
She was born November 10, 1929, in Gay, WV, a daughter of the late Willie and Josephine (Greenleaf) Price. Her husbands, Marion Thomas and Floyd Durst; brothers, Carl and Holley Price; sisters, Fay Westfall, Bessie Price, Ada Anderson, Icie Randolph, Corda Westfall and Elua Price; granddaughter, Nicole Millington also preceded her in death.
She was a former employee of the Sewing Factory, Village Restaurant and a cook at the bus station all in Ripley. She was a member of the Evergreen Hills Freewill Baptist Church and enjoyed cooking, crafts and picnics.
Survivors include her children, Danny (Cathy) Thomas of Iaeger, WV, David (Pamela) Thomas of Evans, Robert Durst (Naomi Hurst) of Columbus, OH; daughters, Joyce (Donald) Gurney of Pataskala, OH and Cindy (Mark) Yinger of Howard, OH; 9 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Service will be 1 p.m. ~ Monday, January 18, 2021 at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV, with Pastors Mark Price and Johnnie Price officiating. Entombment will follow in Jackson County Memory Gardens, Cottageville, WV. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service Monday, at the funeral home.
