Ripley - Aaron Michael Dotson, 45, of the Fairplain community, Ripley, WV passed away September 30, 2021.

He was born September 6, 1976 at the Fort Carson Army Hospital, Colorado Springs, CO the son of Bruce D. Dotson of Fairplain and Beverly (Perdew) Roels of Ravenswood.

Aaron was employed by Go-Mart, Ripley, WV and was a hobby gunsmith. He was a member of the West Virginia Defense League and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his brother, Jeremy Dotson; fiancé, Joann Bryant; uncle, Larry Dotson and his son, John Dotson (Emily) and uncle, John Perdew and aunts, Rose Hoover, Charlene Greathouse, Marlene Helmen and Marsha Conrad and a stepbrother, John Roels, III.

He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Margaret Dotson and a stepbrother, Donnie Garnes.

Service will be 12 noon, Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV with Minister Robert Barcroft officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairplain Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to time of service at the funeral home.
