Harvey Ealy

Ravenswood - Harvey Ealy, 71, of Ravenswood, WV, passed away on September 27, 2021. He was born on December 5, 1949, the son of the late Harvey Ealy and Corine Ealy.

Honoring his country, Harvey served in the US Marine Corps. He was a retired steelworker and member of Local Union 5668. Having grown up in Pennsylvania, he was a lifelong fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates. He also enjoyed coaching baseball from t-ball through senior league.

Harvey was a loving husband and father. In his later years he enjoyed spending quality time with his grandkids, always having a candy jar nearby to spoil them. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Ann; children, Lisa (Chris) Bird, and Jason Ealy; grandchildren, Lindsay, Lauren, Kirk, Zeke, and Isabel; great grandchildren, Aralyn, Jack, Wren, Alex, and Kai; sister, Thelma (Bill) Rankin of Ohio; brothers, Donald (Ginger) Ealy and Terry (Tricia) Barnhart of Pennsylvania; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Kay Brown; and brother, Stevie Barnhart.

There will be no service. The family will be having a private memorial.
