Sharon Deloris Nutter

Gay - Sharon Deloris Nutter, 73 of Gay, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on April 15, 2021.

She was born October 5, 1947 in Gay, daughter of the late Moody and Madge Litton Parsons. She was a "Domestic Engineer" and loved taking care of her family. She was a member of the Elk Fork Church and attended the Vista Church. Her grandkids were her life and she was always wanting to be with them! She was a member of the Cottageville Community Educational Outreach Service Club and enjoyed her flowers and gardening, canning, reading and traveling.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Clyde Nutter; daughter Emily Casto and her husband Bobby of Gay; grandchildren Wesley Nutter, Morgan Casto and Megan Casto; her fur baby, Pumpkin; brothers and sisters Rossie Parsons of Ripley, Dana Parsons of Gay, Stanley Parsons of Spencer, Doreen Thomas of Gay, Delma Miller of Spencer, Doris West-May of Ripley and Sandra Roush of Ravenswood. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Dwight Parsons and sister Dorothy Parsons.

In honoring her wishes, funeral service will be private with Burial in the Jackson County Memory Gardens. Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley is serving the family.

The family would like to thank Dr. William Cartwright, Dr. Kelli Cawley, the nurses and staff of the Strecker Cancer Center in Belpre, Nurses and Staff of G111 at the Cleveland Clinic and the nurses and staff of Kanawha Hospice. A special thank you to her sister and best friend, Sandra, for all the help she gave to her and the family and for never leaving her.

Sharon leaves us with these thoughts…She wants everyone to love each other, not to argue over the small stuff, help those that are less fortunate and VOTE REPUBLICAN !
