Edna Pearl Tallman
Ravenswood - Edna Pearl Tallman, 95, of Ravenswood, WV went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 29 after a brief illness.
She was born November 29, 1925 and raised in Jackson County the daughter of Oda and Lucas Archer.
Pearl was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a wonderful friend. Some of the things she enjoyed were sewing, quilting, gardening, reading her bible and spending time with family and friends. In addition, she liked collecting recipes and was the author of two cookbooks. She was also a faithful member of Praise Cathedral who practiced her Christian beliefs in her daily life and was willing to help anyone in need.
Pearl is now reunited with her parents and other loved ones who preceded her in death: first husband, Warren G. Tallman I; second husband, James V. Lawrence; infant son, Michael; son, Melvin; sisters, Alice Pritchett and Oletta Golmitz and brother, Jackson Archer.
She leaves behind her children, Joann Tallman Walker (Hubert); Linda Wheatley (Jay); Jane Holbert (Gene); Harry Tallman (Mary); Judith (Clarence) and Warren G. Tallman II (Joyce) as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the residence of Gene and Jane Holbert, 126 Morgan Drive, Ravenswood, WV 26164, (304-273-3334), from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Food will be served. All friends are welcome.
