Carolyn Yvette Randolph, 71, of Ravenswood passed away Saturday, July 11, 2020 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
She was born September 17, 1948 at Charleston, a daughter of the late Chester Ray Meadows and Virginia Rose Shingleton Meadows Moore. Carolyn enjoyed attending church at the Ripley Baptist Tabernacle, enjoyed singing and spending time with her grandchildren whom she loved very much. In earlier years her and husband Lee were very active with the youth groups of Second Baptist Church and Heritage Christian Academy in Ravenswood.
She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years Lee Randolph; daughters Susan Eddy (David) and Stacie Cooley (Daniel); son Matt Randolph (Stacey); grandchildren Madison, Derek, Kimarie, Dan, Isaac, Dani, Matthew, Megan and a great granddaughter Raven; sister Lou Ann Hinkle (Randy). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as her cat, Kit Kat.
A funeral service to celebrate Carolyn’s life will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 15th at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Jeff Keffer officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Private family graveside will be in the Fairplain Cemetery.
