Kathryn Louise (Wade) Ihle, 91, of Ravenswood, WV, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2020, at Ravenswood Village, following an extended illness.

She was born August 8, 1928, in Sherman, WV, a daughter of the late Everett and Ida (Horner) Wade. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Edward Ihle, and ten brothers and sisters.

Kathryn was a homemaker and attended the Ravenswood Church of the Nazarene. She had a generous heart and would often volunteer for Adopt-a-Family during Christmas. Kathryn worked at voting polls, was a weather watcher for the National Weather Service, and enjoyed gardening, sewing, quilting, puzzles, and dominoes.

Survivors include her son, Jim Ihle and his wife Tracy of Ravenswood; step-son, Eddie Ihle and his wife Linda of Mason; grandchildren, Michael Ihle of Ravenswood, Amber Ihle and Logan Farmer of Brownstown, IN, Phillip Ihle and Aly Scroggin of North Vernon, IN, Bret Wilson and his wife Sarah of Ravenswood, Heidi Wilson and Dustin Jones of Houston, TX; great- grandchildren, Nadiya, Arabella, Carmine, Sebastian, Isabella, Abigail, Jackson; and a special niece Joan Graham.

Service will be 11 a.m., Friday, June 26, 2020, at Casto Funeral Home, Ravenswood, with Pastor Matthew Matics officiating. Burial will follow in the Ravenswood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Thursday, June 25, 2020, at the funeral home.
