Edna Helen Harris, 89, of Ravenswood, West Virginia, formerly of Spencer, West Virginia, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital in Parkersburg, West Virginia.

She was born March 19, 1931 in Roane County, a daughter of the late Hartley May and Allie Simons White Lowery.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Liverpool Methodist Church.

Edna is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Frankie and Roger Sampson of Ravenswood;  a sister, Waveline Fox of Parkersburg; a brother, Russell White of Niles, Michigan; six grandchildren, Joe Hughes (Wendy), Angela Sampson (Dani), Brian Sampson (Kayla), Kevin Hughes (Valary), Michael Hughes (Vicki), and April Sampson; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank Young; her second husband, George Harris; a daughter, Hazel Hughes; and a sister, Ruby Farnsworth.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Sunday, June 14, 2020 at the Clover Cemetery near Spencer with Rev. Danny Whited officiating.  There will be no visitation or viewing at the funeral home.
