She is survived by one sister, Edith Hapney of Columbus, OH, her daughters Janet (Willie) Moody of Little River, SC, Jane (Casey) Stinespring and Jill Sheppard (Bill Meredith) of Parkersburg, WV.  She is also survived by her grandchildren Nathan (Laura) Utt, Allison (Steve) O’Bryan, Trey Moody (Veronica Tario), Tyler Ludwig, Janelle (Andrew) Bush, Kara (Michael) Rowe and Stacy (Louveture) Jones and great grandchildren Donald and Connor Utt, Isaiah and Issac Bush, Roman O’Bryan, Sophie, Luca and Penelope Armstrong, Caleb, Abigail and Jakoba Rowe, and Aria, Achaia, Asa, and Avan Jones.  Also left to cherish her memory are her special sisters-in-law Jeanne Rhodes, Doris Rhodes, Aleen Townsend, and Wanda Sheppard, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends she made over the years.

In addition to her parents Lucy was preceded in death by her loving husband and soul mate Milford C. (Shep) Sheppard, a grandson, Christopher Leavitt, and her sister and brothers, Freda Cooper, Junior Lee Rhodes, and Lawrence Rhodes, nephews Johnny Knopp, Charles Cooper and niece Portia Hapney.
