Lillian Esther Hardman Conwell, 87 of Ripley, passed away January 11, 2020 at Eagle Pointe Nursing Rehabilitation Center, Parkersburg following a long illness.
She was born September 8, 1932 in Anmoore, WV, a daughter of the late Resinol and Velma Bush Hardman. She was a member of the Epworth United Methodist Church where she and her husband were very active in all phases including the choir. She love quilting, gardening, traveling and camping but her greatest love was being with her family.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, Dale Conwell, sons-in law Bryce Turner and Rudy Anderson along with four sisters and one brother.
She is survived by daughters Cynthia Turner, Esther Stover (husband Mike) and Marcia Anderson; grandchildren Joshua Turner (Robin), Jeremy Stover (Meredith), Noah Turner (Staci), Matthew Stover (Adrianne), Sherah Turner Weaver (Kurt), Rachel Turner Sells (Matt); sisters Linda Cogar and Chyleen Fox and 14 great grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at the Epworth United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Ford Price officiating. Burial will be in the Fairplain Cemetery, Ripley. Friends may call from 12 pm until the time of service (2pm) on Wednesday at the church.
