Lewis Warren Nuzum, 77, of Ravenswood, passed away Monday, December 16,2019, at Camden Clark Medical Center, Parkersburg, WV.

He was born February 22, 1942 in Ravenswood, WV, the son of the late Lloyd and Velma (Landis) Nuzum. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Kay Nuzum; sisters, Beulah White, Darlene Livingston; brothers, James Nuzum, Danny Nuzum and Kirby Nuzum.

Lewis worked as a truck driver for Edwards Transportation in Ravenswood and Sons of Thunder trucking company in Ripley with 26 years of service. He was a licensed Amateur Hand Radio Operator and loved talking to people on the CB radio and went by the handle “Kilowatt”. He enjoyed fishing, landscaping, cutting wood and was Christian by faith.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Rebecca (Snyder) Nuzum; sons, Warren Nuzum of Sandyville, Jeff Nuzum and his wife Penny of Sandyville, Jason Nuzum and his wife Amanda of Ravenswood, Joe Nuzum of WV; daughter, Susan Hoschar and her husband Dean of Alaska; brothers, Dave Nuzum of Logan, OH, Sammy Nuzum of Parkersburg; sisters, Janice Stephenson of Ravenswood, Charlene Nuzum of Logan, OH, Patricia McVey of Millwood, Wanda Wilson of Silverton, Mary Belcher of Sandyville and three grandchildren, Shawn, Taylor and Sierra Nuzum.

In honoring his wishes, he will be cremated with no public services at this time.
