Carolyn Sue Casto, 80, of Kenna passed away November 9, 2019 surrounded by her family. 

She was born September 3, 1939, a daughter of the late Dennis and Mildred Rhodes Collins. Her life was dedicated to being a homemaker.  When she was young, she taught school at a one-room schoolhouse and later worked as a seasonal tax preparer because she liked it.  She loved to read her Bible and believed in the power of prayer. She was an active member of the Christian Fellowship Church, in Kenna, where she was the treasurer for over 30 years. She dearly loved and cherished her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Doyle Edward Casto. She is survived by her daughters Meike (George) Freshour, Robin (Lymon) Anderson and Donna (Kerry) Hinzman; her grandchildren Brandy (Rob) Whittington, Lesley (Jason) Roush, Steven (Kelley) Freshour, Erica (Matt) Smith, Jessica (Bobby) Minnix, Angela (Chad) Stowers, Rachel Hinzman, Jonathan Hinzman and Rebecca Hinzman; great grandchildren Katherine, William and Grace Whittington, Julia, Lauren, Joshua, Zachary and Anna Roush, Noah and Isabella Freshour and Kile Minnix; her brother Jack (Donna) Collins of Ripley; her sisters Katherine Ashby of Parkersburg, Dorma (Jim) Fox of Georgia, Sharon (Russ) Shipley of Maryland, Joan (John) Newland of Virginia and Pamela (Dolan) Williams of Alabama. 

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 13th at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastors George Freshour and Lyman Anderson officiating. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow at the Plainview Cemetery, Kenna. A reception will follow the graveside ceremony at Christian Fellowship Church for those that wish to drop off a dish.
