Okey Don Casto, 80 of Kenna, passed away October 5, 2019 at Jackson General Hospital, Ripley, following a long illness.
He was born August 2, 1939 at Belgrove, Jackson County, a son of the late Holly and Judy Good Casto. He was a retired Machinist from the McJunkin Corporation in Nitro. Don was a faithful member of the Plainview Church in Kenna and loved listening to the Gospel.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Louise Counts Casto; brothers Bernard Casto of Cleveland and Jennings Arnold Casto of Kenna; sisters Reva Crihfield of Kenna, Judy Glennis Skeens of Evans and Glenda Mae Shockey of Sandyville; grandchildren, Tiffany (Frankie) Cummings and Stacy (Curt) Ross; great grandchildren, Tanner, Clayton, Hayden, Tyler, Aubrey and Abigail Ross and Cassidy and John Cummings.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Casto and siblings Clyde Casto, Carroll Casto, Clayton Casto and Rosie Griffin.
Funeral Service will be 12:00 pm Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastors Ray Thomas and Shannon Skeens officiating. Burial will be in the Casto-Plainview Cemetery, Kenna. Friends may call from 11:00 am until the time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
