Marilyn Joan (Salser) Carroll, 77, of Ravenswood, WV, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2019, in CAMC Memorial, Charleston. 

She was born February 23, 1942 in Sherman, WV, a daughter of the late William Judy and Velma Marie (Woofter) Salser. 

Marilyn retired from the United States Postal Service as a mail carrier in 2007. She loved her dog Snoopy, enjoyed working puzzles, square dancing and vacationing at Myrtle Beach. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and loved watching them in their athletic events.                        

Survivors include, her daughters, Lacretia (Larry) Milhoan of Murraysville, Aletia (Eric) Cullen of Ravenswood, Kimberly (Hal) Bigley of Murraysville; grandchildren, Derrick (Tamra) Milhoan, Dustin (Jessica) Milhoan, Chelsie (Jarrod) Richards, Michael Moran, Aaron Cullen, Erica Cullen, Hallie Bigley, Zachariah Bigley; great grandchildren, Nicholas Milhoan, Ali Milhoan, Cole Milhoan, Raylan Milhoan, Carley Richards, Tenley Cullen; brother, James Salser of Murraysville, and sister, Donna Morgan of Ripley.                                                                                                       

Service will be 8 p.m., Thursday, August 1, 2019 at Casto Funeral Home, Ravenswood, WV, with Pastor Dee Rhodes officiating. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until time of service on Thursday, at the funeral home. Committal service will be 11 a.m., Friday, August 2, 2019 at the Howell Cemetery on Milhoan Ridge, Ravenswood.
