John (Jack) Paul Tuttle, 95, died Wednesday morning, June 5, 2019, at Ravenswood Village.
He was born on February 4, 1924, the son of the late Earl and Ina Knight Tuttle of Sistersville, West Virginia. John was a 1942 graduate of Sistersville High School and a veteran of World War II, serving with Battery B 125th AAA Gun Bn.
John was a long-time member of the Church of Christ, most recently Ravenswood and Belpre. He retired from the Kaiser Aluminum plant in Ravenswood.
Surviving is his son David (Shirley), his daughter Julie Daniels, all of Ravenswood; step children Carol (Norman) of West Liberty, OH; Kathryn (William) Isler of Prospect, OH; Suzan (Don) Mallet of Fleming, OH; step daughter-in-law Mona Law of Belpre, OH; 7 grandchildren, 12 step-grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 24 step great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his first wife, Marie Gort Tuttle, who died in 1980; his second wife, Norma Jean Law Tuttle, who died in 2011; a brother Bill; a sister Virginia Wells; a daughter Jill Tuttle; a grandson Kris Perry; and his stepson Paul Law.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday, June 11 at 1:00 p.m. At the Leavitt Funeral Home in Belpre, OH, with Ron Laughery officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service. Military rites will follow at the Ravenswood Cemetery.
