Judith "Judi" Williams, 77, of New Martinsville, WV, passed away December 17, 2018, after a brief illness. Judi was born in Basnettville, WV, daughter of Joe and Rosalie Chisler.
After graduating from Fairview High School in 1959, Judi worked for a period of time in Washington D.C. In 1961, she married Zed Williams III and had two children, Mark and Patri. Zed’s career in the Army led the family to San Jose, California where Judi worked as a software coordinator for Tandem Corporation until her retirement in 1993. In 2006, Judi moved back to her roots in West Virginia.
Judi was preceded in death by her parents, son Mark, and sister Monica Jo (Chisler) Miller.
Judi is survived by her daughter Patri, grandsons Gavin Greene of San Francisco and Keegan Culbertson of Washington State, sisters Kathy Brown of Cottageville and Beth (Ron) Hensley of Ravenswood, nephews Mike (Kris) Hensley of Albuquerque, Rick Hensley of Ravenswood and Jimmy (Maggie) Miller of Raleigh, and niece Staci Miller of New Martinsville. She is also survived by special friends Bonnie and Kathleen (Hall) Batton of New Martinsville, as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Per her request, no funeral services will be held. Judi donated her body to the WVU Human Gift Registry. The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
