Timothy W. Zahrndt

“Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away.”

Our loyal and devoted husband, brother, son, son-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle, and a friend to many, Timothy W. Zahrndt now has gone fishing with the Lord on May 7, 2018, at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital in Parkersburg.

Tim was born on January 17, 1957, in Gallipolis, OH, son of the late Harry L. and Hazel R. Farmer Zahrndt.

He was a member of the Milhoan Ridge Baptist Church.  He loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, four-wheeling, and drives through the country with his sweetie, Glenda.  Tim was also a member of USWA Local 5668 and was employed at the aluminum plant for many years.

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Glenda Zahrndt; brother, Anthony “Tony” (Brenda) Zahrndt; father-in-law, W. ‘Glen’ Hoselton; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Donna (Randy) Gerlach, Glen Dean (Sarah) Hoselton, and Christina (Jerry) Rhodes; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and his loyal companion, Choco.

Our sincere heartfelt thanks to Dr. Shah and staff, Camden Clark Memorial Hospital, Ruby Memorial Hospital and Jackson General Hospital.

At Tim’s request, his wish was to have no public service.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
