James F. Ingram, 83, of Ripley, WV, passed away November 23, 2017, at his home following an extended illness.

   He was born May 29, 1934, in Belgrove, WV, a son of the late Aristotle and Elsie Mae (Taylor) Ingram. In addition to his parents he was preceded by brothers, Oral Leo, Sharold and Clyde Ingram; sisters, Iantha Phillips and Glendoris Price.

   He was a United States Army veteran. He was a retired supervisor with the Los Angeles County Parks and Recreation with 25 years of service. He was the co-owner of Blue Ribbon Antiques and Ingram’s Christmas Tree farm in Ripley, WV. Jim and Irene traveled to many antique shows and enjoyed traveling.

   Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Margie Irene (Jones) Ingram; daughters, Jima Lynn Gandee and her husband Jerry of Ripley, Tina Julyn Westfall and her husband John of Charleston; brother, Aristotle “Junior” Ingram; grandson, Jerad (Angela) Gandee; granddaughters, Sierra Brooke Westfall, Savannah Grace (Austin) Coulter; great-grandchildren; Zoe, Chad, Madison, Macenzie and Allison Mae.

   Jim’s family meant the world to him especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

   Service was held Sunday, November 26, 2017 ~ 2 p.m. at the Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV with Pastor Rick Perrine officiating. Burial followed in the Jackson County Memory Gardens Cemetery, Cottageville, WV. Visitation was from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
