Paul E. Casto, 81 of Given, passed away April 11, 2017 at Hubbard Hospice House following a long illness.
He was born October 11, 1935 at Given, a son of the late Luther and Oma Bowles Casto. He was a 1954 graduate of Ripley High School where he was a member of the FFA. He retired from West Virginia Paving and started Paul E. Casto Construction and operated for over 25 years. Paul was an avid gardener, camper, jokester, pig collector and WVU fan.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ruth Ann Skeen Casto; son Scott (Tena) Casto of Given; granddaughter Kylee Ann of Given; sister Rosalee French of Ripley and also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers Alfred Casto and Everett “Buss” Casto and sister Hilda Pringle.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Friday, April 14, 2017 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Jimmie Compton officiating. Burial will be in the Given Cemetery, Given.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 pm Thursday and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
