Warren William Nesselroad, 96, of Millwood, WV passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2016, at Ravenswood Care Center, Ravenswood.

He was born July 20, 1920, in Sedan, Kansas, a son of the late Israel and Minnie (Jarrett) Nesselroad.  His wife, Floretta (Wolfe) Nesselroad, also preceded him in death.

Warren was a United States Navy veteran and served on a minesweeper protecting the west coast during World War II. He was a retired lab technician from Kaiser Aluminum and farmer. He was member of the United Steelworkers Union, Local #5668, the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Lodge #30, Ripley, WV, and the Pleasant View United Methodist Church. Warren enjoyed swimming, tennis and playing in baseball leagues. 

Survivors include his sons, Lyle Nesselroad and his wife, Patty of Ravenswood and Sidney Nesselroad of Ellensburg, WA; brother, Paul Nesselroad of Morgantown; four grandchildren, Lara, Brian Ben and Michelle; five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Service will be 6 p.m. Tuesday, November 15, 2016, at Casto Funeral Home Chapel, Ravenswood, WV, with the Rev. Gerald Sayre officiating. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the funeral home. 

Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2016, at the Ravenswood Cemetery, with military honors provided by the Jackson County Honor Guard.
