Rebecca Joyce Mullins, 75, of Ripley, WV, passed away and finally became free from her pain, October 19, 2016
Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
She was born January 21, 1941, in Mannington, WV, the daughter of the late Tully L. and Frances Naomi (Moore) McElfresh.
Becky, was a former employee of FMC Ordinance Center and a former ward clerk at St. Francis Hospital. She was a member of the Jackson County Democratic Women and the Randolph Street Baptist Church in Charleston.
She was a beautifully spirited, plainspoken lady who enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 47 years, David W. Mullins; son, Todd Mullins; daughters, Samra J. Mullins, Heather and her husband Robby Ratliff and Melissa J. Mullins; grandchildren, David A. (Ekta) Mullins, Megan (Nathan) Vannest, Michael Mullins, Chelsea Mullins, Cliff Kay, Colton Kay and Bekah Kay; great grandchildren, Dalton Mullins and Cole Mullins; brother Lanny McElfresh and her sister, Gwenn Tittle.
In keeping with her request to further medical science, her remains has been donated to the Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine at Ohio University, Athens, OH. There will be a private family ceremony held at a later date.
