Christopher “Chris” Scott Benson of Portland, Ohio passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2016. Not long on this earth, he touched many lives with his wit, energy, and ever-present smile. He was a naturally friendly person with a helping hand for anyone in need. He was a Mr. Fix-It, who could fix anything.

Chris’ death leaves a huge void in the lives of his family and friends who are better for having known him. He was a good husband to his wife Sara and a loving father to his son Warren and stepson Andy Robinson. He is also survived by his loving mother, Candy Stone, Ravenswood, WV; brother Justin Gill of Beaver, Ohio; and grandfather, Lester D. Ables, Ravenswood, WV, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Sue and Ron Cammarata, Portland, OH, uncle Tod Benson and Aunt Tasha, Ripley, WV; grandfather and grandmother, Terry Benson (Liz), of Spring City,TN, uncle Shane Gill, Piney, WV; aunt Tracy Pawnee, Loggins, SD; grandfather Jack Gill, St. Albans, WV; grandmother, Linda Thompson, Piney, WV; great-grandfather Lawrence "Celeste" Benson, Muskegor, MI.
