Baptist Ministers’ Conference


PETERSBURG — All meetings and events for the Baptist Ministers’ Conference have been canceled until further notice.


Big Bethel Baptist


McKENNEY — Big Bethel Baptist Church, 11010 Bolling Road, has canceled the annual Homecoming service scheduled for Aug. 9 and their annual revival services scheduled for Aug. 11-13 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.


Calvary Baptist


YALE — Calvary Baptist Church, 20248 Courthouse Road, will have a Homecoming service on Aug. 9 at 10 a.m. The service will be held on church grounds and over the church’s conference line. The fall revival will be held on Aug. 11-13 at 7 p.m. nightly over the church conference line. The guest speakers will be Rev. Rhene King of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church in Jarratt, Rev. Linda Skipper of St. John Baptist Church in Stony Creek, and Rev. Jameson McLaughlin of New Hope Baptist Church in Waverly, respectively. Calvary Temple Church


PETERSBURG — Calvary Temple Church, 110 N. Dunlop St., will live stream their services each Sunday morning at 10:45 a.m. on their Facebook and YouTube channels.


Harvest International Full Gospel Center


PETERSBURG — Harvest International Full Gospel Center, 1017 W. Washington St., will have a 10:30 a.m. Sunday service in the back parking lot of the church throughout August. The CDC standards must be followed and automobile guidelines for all attending. The church will also offer free Bible school on Thursdays at 6 p.m. Elder Bracy Bonner and Apostille Mary Bonner are the instructors. The CDC guidelines will be followed. The public is invited.


Marmora Baptist


CHURCH ROAD — Marmora Baptist Church, 2901 Exeter Mill Road, will celebrate the 86th anniversary of the church on Aug. 2 at its 11 a.m. drive-in service. Rev. Joseph B. Fields and Mt. Zion Church will be the guests. Holy Communion will be administered.


Mars Hill Baptist


CAPRON — Mars Hill Baptist Church, 20315 Carys Bridge Road, will have a drive-in worship service at 10 a.m. in the church parking lot each Sunday until further notice. Participants are asked to remain in their vehicles. CDC standards and automobile guidelines must be followed for all attending.


Mount Hope Baptist


PRINCE GEORGE — Mount Hope Baptist Church, 10300 Lawyers Road, will live stream their Sunday services via Zoom at 9 a.m. until further notice. Mt. Level Baptist


DINWIDDIE — Mt. Level Baptist Church, 14920 Courthouse Road, will offer a live-streamed drive-in Homecoming celebration on Aug. 9 at 6 p.m. with guest preacher Rev. Herbert R. Holly, II of St. John Baptist Church in Stony Creek. The theme is "Spreading Love" and green is the dress color scheme. Members are requested to bring canned goods for the Dinwiddie Food Bank. The church’s Fall Revival will be held on Aug. 11 and 12 at 6 p.m. Guest speakers are Minister Carolyn Stewart of Bethany Baptist Church in Lawrenceville on Aug. 11 and Minister Carolyn Stewart of Oak Grove Baptist Church in North Dinwiddie on Aug. 12. New Divine Worship Center


PETERSBURG — New Divine Worship Center, 2793-H S. Crater Road, has canceled all services until further notice.


New Hope Baptist


WAVERLY — New Hope Baptist Church, 18183 Old Forty Road, will celebrate their annual Homecoming and revival services beginning Aug. 2 at 9:30 a.m., and 6:30 p.m. with guest preacher Rev. Ronnie Franklin of Galilee Baptist Church in Stony Creek. Both services will be in the parking lot and live on Facebook and YouTube. The church will hold revival services at 7 p.m. on Aug. 4-6 with guest preachers Rev. Joshua Mitchell of 31st Street Baptist Church in Richmond on Aug. 4, Rev. Lamont Hobbs of Metropolitan Baptist Church in Petersburg on Aug. 5, and Rev. Eddie Spencer of Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Englewood, N.J. Services will also be streamed; the public is welcome.

DINWIDDIE — Sharon Baptst Church, 26804 Fort Emory Road, will hold their annual Homecoming service on Aug. 2 at 9 a.m.on the church grounds. Revival will be held from Aug. 3-7 with Rev. Barry Broad of Eleven Oaks Baptist Church on Aug. 3, Rev. Kevin Northam of Olive Branch Baptist Church on Aug. 4, Rev. Dr. Larry Cooper of Center Star Baptist Church on Aug. 5, Rev.
