The Salvation Army in collaboration with the Jackson County Ministerial Association, Victory Church, North United Methodist Church, The Magnolia Painting Company, Phoenix Rising Trucking, LLC, Ravenswood Inn Bed & Breakfast, Scout Troop 43 Boys, and Scout Troop 43 Girls have joined together to provide FREE Community Thanksgiving Meals, in Jackson County, on Thursday, Nov. 28.
Meals will be served in the Henry J. Kaiser Elementary School Cafeteria, 803 Kaiser Avenue, Ravenswood, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. If you do not have transportation and would like a meal, plans have been made for deliveries, in Jackson County only. You may also stop by the cafeteria and pick up meals as needed.

Also Volunteers are needed to help with this event, so if you would like to volunteer to help prepare meals, serve, do deliveries, set up or clean up please call 304-531-4932. Even if you only have a few hours to volunteer, what a wonderful way to truly celebrate Thanksgiving by helping others.
This dinner is FREE and open to the public and everyone is welcome. So if you don’t have plans with family or friends, don’t have transportation, or just would enjoy a good Thanksgiving meal complete with all the trimmings, please make plans to attend or call for more information.
