A Ravenswood woman was arrested recently on drug charges.
Amanda Sue Miracle, 38, 1111 Henry St., Ravenswood, was charged with possession of narcotics with the intent to deliver.
Around 1:24 a.m. on March 4, Patrolmen R. Bargerstock and L. Roush of the Ravenswood Police Department made contact with a vehicle in front of the Landing at 101 Mulberry St. in Ravenswood. The officers had received information that the occupants of the vehicle were involved in drug activity, according to a criminal complaint filed in Jackson County Magistrate Court.
The officers made contact with the occupants and saw a methamphetamine smoking pipe in plain view in the center console, according to the complaint. The officers located a small blue plastic baggie containing suspected methamphetamine laying
on the ground in front of their cruiser where the suspects were standing.
The investigation also produced a small metal lock box containing an electronic scale, as well as a similar blue plastic baggie containing a white powdery residue suspected to be remnants of methamphetamine.
