Ripley’s Tori Starcher captured another out-of-state victory on Saturday by claiming first in the Wendy’s Invitational at Charlotte’s McAlpine Park.
The talented junior turned in a time of 17:41.17 for the victory.
Ripley’s girls team finished 20th overall with 457 points.
Jadyn Casto was 85th (21:12.20) in the prestigious event. Tori Fisher was 98th(21:34.61). Aubrey Stephens was 114th (21:52.51). Haleigh McCune was 163rd (22:59.91), Lauren Roush was 183rd (23:35.29) and Aurora Huffman was 218th(25:15.77). Kaylyn Parrish had a time of 28:30.29.
Ripley’s boys were 37th overall. Chase Pepper finished in the Top 100 with a time of 17:35.50. Gabe Zuniga (19:10.70), Levi Jones (19:35.87), Bradley Yost (19:47.29), Chase Casto (21:17.46), Garrison Phillips (21:39.42) and Cole Neal (23:45.43) all competed for Ripley.
