Vietnam veteran, Purple Heart recipient and four-time Super Bowl Champion running back with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Rocky Bloeier is set to address Thursday night’s sold-out Community Foundation of jackson County Celebration Dinner at the Jackson County Armed Forces Reserve Center. Doors open at at 5 p.m.

Vietnam veteran, Purple Heart recipient and four-time Super Bowl Champion running back with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Rocky Bloeier is set to address Thursday night’s sold-out Community Foundation of Jackson County Celebration Dinner at the Jackson County Armed Forces Reserve Center. Doors open at at 5 p.m.

“Mr. Bleier is just as excited to come to Jackson County as we are to host him at our event. I spoke with him Thursday morning and he is full of energy and ready to share his wonderful message with us. The Community Foundation and Mr. Bleier share the same mission for our Veterans groups. He is anxious to meet each of our 6 groups in Jackson County. I had sent him information on each group, which he already read and was familiar with what each organization does for our veterans,” commented Christy Crowell, Executive Director JCCF, Inc

  Attendees will also hear from Christy Crowell, Executive Director JCCF, Inc. and Will Hosaflook, Board Chair JCCF, Inc. as they present thousands of dollars to Fall Grant recipients in Jackson County for various community projects. Charity Challenge awards will also be given out at this Celebration Benefit. 

  Fairplain Yacht Club has created a custom catering menu for the event. We have invited all WWII Veterans in Jackson County, who will be recognized at the event ,” said Crowell.

 Rocky Bleier, PurpleHeart decorated Vietnam veteran and former professional football player, will inspire attendees with a talk on how ordinary people can become extraordinary achievers. He will take the audience from his early years on the battlefields of Vietnam through his professional career with the Pittsburgh Steelers, emphasizing the lessons he learned along the way. With real-world practicality, Bleier will offer the audience tips on how to reach new levels of inner confidence, which in turn will help them 

businesses and contribute more meaningfully to their organizations.
