RAVENSWOOD - A total of 27 contstants will vie for two crowns in the 2017 Ohio River Festival Queen Daphne XXXIII Pageant and Ohio River Festival Teen Pageant set for Saturday (April 22) at the Ravenswood High School Auditorium.

• Jaden Giles, 17, Spencer, WV

• Kelly Irvine, 16, Poca, WV

• Paige Matlack, 17, Parkersburg WV

• Celia Morales, 20, South Charleston, WV

• Katlyn Nichols, 17, Ravenswood, WV

• Jessie Pennell, 19, Harrisville, WV

•Katlynn Ruddle, 17, Franklin, WV

• Tessa Snyder, 19, Ravenswood, WV

• Cheyenne Thomas, 20, Kenna, WV

• Samantha Wagoner, 19, Millwood, WV

There will be 4 phases of competition:

• Interview – the judges’ panel will meet with each contestant for a private interview. Interview will last up to 3 minutes per contestant. The basic tool for conducting this interview is the application fact sheet. The judges may use their own questions but the majority will be based off the fact sheet.

• Introduction – After opening number, introduction will be completed in jeans and t-shirt provided by the pageant.

• Evening Wear – should be floor length gown and age appropriate.

• On-Stage Question – Fish bowl question.

Schedule of Events

9 a.m.  Contestants arrive for registration

9:30 a.m.  Orientation/Breakfast reception/Rehearsal

12 noon  Contestants prepare for interviews

12:30 p.m.  Interviews will begin
