JACKSON COUNTY – Incumbent Republican Steve Westfall held off a strong challenge from Democratic newcomer Miss Morris to win re-election to another term as 12th District Delegate.

Westfall totaled 3,833 votes (51.91%) unofficially in the final tally to Morris’s 3,542 (47.97%) votes. There were nine write-in votes.

“I want to thank the people of Jackson County for their support, especially those in th 12th District,” Westfall told Jackson Newspapers. “I will always have their back, and I will always have Jackson County in mind when I do anything at the state level.”
