RIPLEY -  The October Jackson Circuit Court Grand Jury returned 39 indictments Wednesday including two counts of first degree murder against Cottageville resident Benjam R. Taylor, 32.

Taylor was indicted on two counts (common law and felony) of first degree murder, one count of death of a child by child abuse, one count of sexual assault-first degree and one count of sexual abuse by a guardian, custodian or person in a position of trust to a child in the death of 10-month-old Emmaleigh Elizabeth Barringer.

In other returned indictments:

• Adam Quesenberry was indicted on one felony count of burglary and one misdemeanor count of petit larceny for the alleged entry of a dwelling and the theft of a chainsaw in August, 2016.

• Justin Barker, 25, of Ripley, was indicted on one felony count of counterfeiting and one count of conspiracy to commit a felony stemming from a February, 2016 incident.

• Jade Williams, 19, of Ripley, was indicted on one felony count of counterfeiting and one count of conspiracy to commit a felony stemming from a February, 2016 incident.

• David Reil, 46, of Parkersburg, was indicted on one felony count of operating or attempting to operate a clandestine drug laboratory, one felony count of possession of substance to be used as precursor to manufacturing methamphetamine and two counts of shoplifting-third offense stemming from March, 2016 incidents.

• Justin Cutright, 30, of Sandyville, was indicted on two felony counts of sexual assault-third degree involving a juvenile female victim.

• Christopher Slate, 30. of Ripley, was indicted on four felony counts of delivery of a controlled substance-heroin, and one count of conspiracy to commit a felony stemming from July, 2016 incidents.

• John Grey was indicted on four felony counts of delivery of a controlled substance-heroin, and one count of conspiracy to commit a felony stemming from July, 2016 incidents.

• John Grey was indicted on one felony count of delivery of a controlled substance-methamphetamine, one count of attempting to commit a felony and one count of conspiracy to commit a felony stemming from July, 2016 incidents.

• Dale Proctor, 47, of Ripley, was indicted on one felony count of delivery of a controlled substance-methamphetamine, one count of attempting to commit a felony and one count of conspiracy to commit at felony stemming from July, 2016 incidents.

• Dylan Proctor, 20, of Ripley, was indicted on one felony count of delivery of a controlled substance-methamphetamine, one count of attempting to commit a felony and one count of conspiracy to commit at felony stemming from July, 2016 incidents. 

• Dale Proctor, 47, of Ripley, was indicted on one felony count of escape stemming from a August, 2016 incident.

• Ivonne Valdez, 32, of Ripley, was indicted on one felony count of forgery, one felony count of uttering and one felony count of computer fraud stemming from a incident in August, 2016.

• Ivonne Valdez, 32, of Ripley, was indicted on two felony counts of grand larceny, one felony count of possession of a stolen vehicle, three counts of conspiracy to commit a felony and one misdemeanor count of fleeing on foot stemming from August, 2016 incidents.

• Christopher Wood, 32, of Ripley, was indicted on two felony counts of grand larceny, one felony count of possession of a stolen vehicle, three counts of conspiracy to commit a felony and one misdemeanor count of fleeing on foot stemming from August, 2016 incidents.

• Joseph J. Nelson was indicted on one felony count of kidnapping, one felony count of attempted murder, one felony count of malicious assault, and one count of conspiracy to commit a felony stemming from a October, 2016 incident.

• Christopher Lafferty, 43, of Ripley, was indicted on one felony count of kidnapping, one felony count of attempted murder, one felony count of malicious assault, and one count of conspiracy to commit a felony stemming from a October, 2016 incident.

• Alex Coulter was indicted on one felony count of operating or attempting to operate a clandestine drug laboratory and one felony count of possession of a substance to be used as a precursor to manufacturing methamphetamine stemming from December, 2014 incidents.

• James Westfall was indicted on one felony count of escape and one count of destruction of property stemming from a September, 2016 incident.

• Jason Cornett was indicted on one felony count of arson-first degree and one felony count of destruction of property stemming from a July, 2016 incident.

• Michael Brown, 28, of Evans, was indicted on one felony count of grand larceny stmming fromthe theft of a truck in July, 2016.

• Jessica A. Williams, 36, of Ravenswood, was indicted on one felony count of attempted murder, one felony count of malicious assault and one misdemeanor count of dometic battery stemming from a July, 2016 incident.

• Devon Brown, 22, of St. Albans, was indicted on one felony count of poss with intent to deliver a controlled substance-Alprazolam stemming from a July, 2016 incident.

• Brandy Criss was indicted on five felony counts of unauthorized use of an access device and two counts of conspiracy to commit a felony stemming from August, 2016 incidents.

• Ernie Nichols was indicted on five felony counts of unauthorized use of an access device and two counts of conspiracy to commit a felony stemming from August, 2016 incidents.

• Teddy Nichols was indicted on five felony counts of unauthorized use of an access device and two counts of conspiracy to commit a felony stemming from August, 2016 incidents.

• Michael S. Gatrell, 23, of Ripley, was indicted on one felony count of burglary and two felony counts of grand larceny stemming from a July, 2016 incident.

• Shawn K. Young, 33, of LeRoy, was indicted on 10 felony counts of sexual abuse by a custodian stemming from incidents that occurred between August, 2015 and September, 2016.

• Alexandiro Mallo, 30, of Kenna, was indicted on three felony counts of failure to provide notice of registration changes as a sex offender.

• Yuel T. Gibson, 28, of Charleston, was indicted on one felony count of reckless fleeing in a vehicle, one felony count of possession of a stolen vehicle and three felony counts of unauthorized use of an access device stemming from July, 2016 incidents.

• Stanley A. Miller, 37, of Thurman, OH, was indicted on one felony count of possession with ontent to deliver a controlled substance-methamphetamine stemming from a April, 2016 incident.

• Phillip Fields was indicted on one felony count of sexual abuse-first degree, one felony cont of sexual abuse by a custodian or person in a position of trust to a child involving incidents in April, 2016 with a juvenile female victim.

• Ray C. Bell, IV, 24, of Sandyville, was charged with one felony count of delivery of a controlled substance-methamphetamine stemming from a April, 2015 incident.

• Dustan Fields, 30, of Gandeeville, was indicted on one felony count of malicious assault and one misdemeanor count of domestic battery stemming from a June, 2016 incident.

• Art Whited was indicted on one felony count of DUI-third offense.

• Jamie L. Harmon, 37, of Charleston, was indicted on one felony count of possession of a stolen vehicle, and two misdemeanor counts of possession of a firearm by a person prohibited due to domestic battery stemming from a july, 2016 incident.

• Wayne Rogers was indicted on one count of failure to meet obligation to provide support to a minoor for 12 alleged months of non-payment (April 2015-April, 2016).

• Laura Waldrop, 58, of Ravenswood, was indicted on one felony count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance-methamphetamine stemming from a February, 2016 incident.

• Hancel Tony Reynolds was indicted on one felony count of transferring/receiving stolen property involving firearms in July, 2016-August, 2016.
