RIPLEY - Ripley guard Cody Bailey hit three 3-point buckets in the first minute and a half of the game as Ripley's jayvee squad took the Indians of Sissonville down, 55-36 on Thursday night in front of an enthusiastic crowd at Ripley Health Center.

"Cody got us off to a great start and it set the tone for the game," said Ripley coach Steve Hunt after the contest.

The Vikings also feasted in the post on designed plays for (6-4) post-man Luke Layhew. Layhew hit under the bucket, from 10-feet and in transition for the Vikings.

Ripley (6-12) has found their groove after a slow start out of the gate this season. The Vikings have played quality defense all season and as the offense has began to click on all cylinders, Ripley has found the win column. The Vikes knocked off a quality George Washington jayvee squad earlier this season.

Leading the way was Layhew with 16, Bailey netted 12, Morgan Graves 10, Dylan Hall 10, Jack Victory three, Justin McKown two and Logan McKinney two.
