CHARLESTON –  The Jarrod West-led Notre Dame Fighting Irish were too much for the Ravenswood Red Devils in Saturday's Class A state championship game, taking the title with a 63-55 win.

The Devils trailed 43-21 at the half, but battled back with a 17-8 third quarter.  However, the Irish put the game away at the free throw line in the fourth, winning its first state championship in any sport.

West led all scorers with 29 points.  Senior Riley Heatherington led the Devils with 25 points in his final game in a Ravenswood uniform.
