Phyllis “Sue” Fenney, 70, of Ravenswood passed away Saturday, June 13, 2009, at her home.
She was born August 1, 1938, at Ethel in Logan County, a daughter of Howard and Paulene Reece Copley.
She was a homemaker and member of the Junior Women’s Club. She loved quilting and was a talented seamstress. She loved to read, travel and spend time with her family and grandchildren.
Surviving are her loving husband, Frank Fenney, of Ravenswood; mother Paulene Copley of Chicago, IL; sons Richard and his wife Tina of Hurricane and Stephen and his wife Lynn of Proctorville, OH; daughter Leslee Smith and her husband Dan of South Charleston; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three brothers and four sisters.
She was preceded in death by her father, Howard Copley.
A private family service was held Monday, June 15, at 2:00 p.m. at Roush Funeral Home, Ravenswood, with Reverend Darrell Johnson officiating. Burial followed in Ravenswood Cemetery.
A private family visitation was held at Roush Funeral Home on Monday, June 15, from noon until 2:00 p.m.
