Jerry Clyde Pinson, 59, of Idaho Falls, ID, died February 20, 2010, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center of natural causes.
Jerry was born September 11, 1950, in Pikeville, KY, to James Thomas Pinson and Lula Ball Pinson. He grew up and attended schools in Kentucky. He lived in Inverness, FL, from 1989 to 1998 and moved to Idaho Falls in 1999.
He married Diane Joy Erickson on September 8, 2000, in Idaho Falls. He worked in marketing for Center Partners and as a customer service representative at Deseret Industries.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Jerry enjoyed reading, sports, all of his children and grandchildren, cross-stitching, and collecting baseball cards.
Survivors include his wife, Diane Pinson of Idaho Falls; children Kristin Nossaman of Hurricane, WV, Jonathan Pinson of Sandyville, and Renee Brown; step-children Vickie Finstad, Carl Erickson, and Dianna J. Gifford, all of Idaho Falls, Allan Erickson of Ammon, ID, Ben Erickson of Shelley, ID, and Dennis Erickson of Rigby, ID; siblings Fred Pinson, Freddie Pinson, and Mary Grace Kevish, all of Belfry, KY; and 16 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
A memorial service was held February 23, in Idaho Falls. An additional service was held at Grace Gospel Baptist Church in Ripley at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 3.
