BANCROFT – Ralph Berry Allen, 66, of Chesterfield County, VA and Melbourne, FL, passed away on Sunday, July 25, 2010. Ralph was born in Bancroft, on July 27, 1943 the son of Ralph Berry and Jewell Selma Walters Allen. He served in the US Air Force as part of the Aerospace Test Wing Minuteman Div. and graduated from Virginia State College and retired from Philip Morris USA Process Engineering in 1998.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Linda Louise Kelly Allen; daughter Carey Lynn Brace (Jeffrey) and grandson, Taylor Emery Brace all of Chesterfield Co., VA; sisters Molly Ardena Painter (Kenneth) of Beverly and Carolyn Maye Garrison (Harold Don) of Poca.
The family will receive friends from 6 till 8 p.m. at the Morrisset Funeral Home, Richmond VA. Mr. Allen will be taken to Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, where the families will recieve friends from 10 a.m. till Noon on Saturday, with funeral services being held at 12 p.m.
