Calvin Arthur Fletcher, 68, of Ravenswood died Monday, June 29, 2009, at his home.
He was born April 16, 1941, in Rockcastle, a son of Kermit and Faye Barnette Fletcher.
He was retired from the U.S. Navy as a Senior Chief Engineman and was a mechanic with Carl Smith in Sandyville.
He is survived by sons Charles A. (Rose) Fletcher and Bruce (Robin) Fletcher, both of Murraysville; significant other Irene Sullivan of Belleville; Wayne Fletcher of Murraysville, Curtis Fletcher of Washington state, and Roger Fletcher of Elkview; sisters Judy Townsend of Georgia and Patricia Barker of Williamson; stepchildren Ken Tignor of Cross Lanes, Terri Dimick of North Carolina; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A visitation was held Wednesday, July 1, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Roush Funeral Home in Ravenswood.
There will be no funeral service.
